The Flinders Lane studio is a collaborative design environment, bringing together an international team that has been built on the principles of open communication and good fit. We have a new opportunity for a detail focused Area Leader to join our growing team.
This exciting role will suit a dynamic, proactive and highly skilled person with 8+ years of experience who has direct exposure within hospitality projects, possesses a high attention to detail and loves adding value.
As Area Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
- AutoCad production – creation of design, delivery and construction documentation, including interior design plans, ceiling plans, elevations and details
- Specifications – assembly of design intent data for finishes, including the FFE selections for furniture, artwork, accessories and special equipment
- Coordination – with the client, contractors and consultants
- Quality Assurance – ensure documentation complies with advice provided regarding current regulations and satisfies scope requirements
The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified as an Architect, and have previous experience in a similar busy role within hospitality projects using AutoCad. You will also have strong organisational skills, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You will have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch Up (desirable) and MS Office.
