Our Client is one of Australia’s leading producers of Sports Media in Australia, creating multi-stream content for TV, Mobile, Web & Print.
The Junior Designer will be reporting directly to the Senior UI/UX Designer & Digital Art Director, creating visually engaging designs for digital. Your role will be to help in translating concepts into User flows, wireframes and mockups that lead to user-centred intuitive experiences.
As the junior UX/UI Designer you will be able to collaborate and learn from the many different disciplines located within the studio- Art Directors, Designers, IXD’s, Product & Sales teams. Your role will be to assist in the delivery of Design solutions across the many different channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
- Take a user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.
Knowledge:
- 2-3 years experience in Digital Design or equivalent discipline.
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently and a keen understanding of how content, design and user interface work together to create an optimal user experience
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
- Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
- Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
