The Company
  
Based in North Sydney this global engineering consultancy specialise in Civil, Structural and Building Services sectors. Having recently been successful in securing a number of exiting and innovative projects they are urgently recruiting for an Architectural Design Architect who will be specialising in the design of integrated environments to meet the community, environmental and resource challenges of our time to deliver positive client and community outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Development of client relationships, pursuit of opportunities and winning work
• Lead or assist in the preparation of proposals or bids
• Contribution to the development of strong design capability across the Built Environment section of the business
• Delivery of projects to achieve design excellence and client satisfaction in line with their strategic plan
• Be the primary Design Architect for the team in NSW.
• Liaise with and coordinate the inputs of the broader business in ANZ and Globally

About you 
  
As a valued member of their architectural team you will be naturally creative and require the following skills, qualifications and experience to deliver exceptional value to their clients:

• Bachelor of Architecture or a Masters of Urban Design
• Urban Design and Master planning expertise
• Understanding of the application of BCA/NCC and Australian Standards
• Fluent with DDA compliance and AS1428 in particular
• Sound technical construction knowledge
• Enthusiasm for design excellence
• Good visual presentation skills
• Good verbal communication skills
