ABOUT THE ROLE

This well- known government organisation has a great opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer to be part of an energetic and ambitious team for the next 4 weeks with the possible extension of another 2 months.

This role offers the opportunity to work either 4 or 5 days a week within the Brand and Publishing team. The days of work will be flexible and can be negotiated with the Hiring Manager

The successful candidate will design and edit media and publications for print and online distribution and manage digital assets for the organisation.

In order to be successful for the role, you will meet the following criteria:

• Accreditation and qualification in graphic design or visual communication

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs such as InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro and Premiere Pro.

• Extensive experience in graphic design, desktop publishing and digital design for print and digital.

• Experience in producing attractive visual designs and media, consistent with brand guidelines, and a solid understanding designing for accessibility.

• Comfortable in a Microsoft windows environment and with Apple Mac platforms

• Great communication skills with demonstrated capacity to comprehend, negotiate and educate clients at all levels
