Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated Operations Assistant to support their Regional Customer Service Group.

This is a temporary full-time position, commencing July 7 2018 until December 31 2018.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Assistant will provide a broad range of administration support services to the district in accordance with corporate and regional requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide general administration support services as directed and contribute to the service delivery function in the district
  • Assist in the provision of a correspondence, records and document management function
  • Attend to customers and operational enquiries
  • Assist depot staff with fleet management administration (i.e. forms, paperwork, filing, help with inspections & booking services that are decided by line managers)
  • Manage Petty cash - reimbursements, reconcile, recoup and standpipe moneys (where appropriate)
  • Assist with the payroll function

About you

To be successful in this role you will have previous administration experience along with outstanding customer service, organisational and time management skills.

You will be required to have proven clerical skills, Sound computer literacy skills with intermediate skills in MS Excel and MS Word, and accurate data entry abilities.

Skill, knowledge and experience:

  • Current WA drivers .
  • Relevant experience in and demonstrated capability of providing a broad range of administration, business and customer service support in a multi-disciplinary business environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and accept responsibility for delivering defined business outcomes
  • Able to positively participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Willingness to attain or already hold a High Risk Forklift licence and White Card
