Assistant Sydney is working on an exciting hybrid opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Director of an exciting start-up property firm. Based in the CBD in beautiful offices, you will be supporting a successful and entrepreneurial business owner. There will be opportunities to take on projects and contribute to other areas of the business i.e. managing the office whilst also performing your core EA duties. Our client is a humble and driven individual who has big plans for the company – he is looking for someone to join him on this journey and contribute the overall success of the business!
  
the responsibility

In a role that includes huge variety and the opportunity to take on new challenges, your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Full diary and inbox management for the Director
  • Domestic and international travel for both business and personal trips
  • Screening and assessing incoming correspondence and ensuring appropriate distribution/response
  • Driving operational efficiency by setting up ore refining current administrative processes
  • Assisting with accounts and ensuring all invoices/expenses are paid on time
  • Assisting with the marketing function of the business – liaising with marketing agencies, real estate agents and solicitors
  • Occasional Personal Assistant support as and when required
the expertise

In order to be considered for this role and ultimately successful in obtaining it, you will require:
  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant providing support at Managing Director level preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite – exposure to Xero will be highly desirable.
  • An extremely high attention to detail as well as being process driven
  • Ability to maintain professional discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality
