Job Description

Experienced office manager wanted for small private music teaching business presently operating in 5 schools in South East Melbourne (East Bentleigh, Bentleigh, Dingley, Seaford and Aspendale).

My business has grown quite significantly in the past year and I need someone to manage the day to day running of my business. I am looking for someone who is very computer savvy, has website development experience & can implement new administrative systems so that things run more efficiently. Current enrolment numbers are 250 but looking to expand to other schools in the future. At this stage work will be on a casual basis and weekly hours will vary depending on the time of year.  Approx number of hours required at this point will be 2 - 4 hours per week (during school terms). As the business grows and the seleced candidate assumes more responsiblity additional hours will be required. Work times are flexible.

Job Requirements

The applicant needs to be very computer proficient having a thorough working knowledge of Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Access & MYOB and be able to use designer software for pamphlets/flyers etc.

I have a new revamped website so hoping to find someone who has experience with maintaining and formatting a Word Press website.

Looking to implement a payment gateway & find an suitable CRM for my business so any skill in these areas would also be a great advantage

I also require someone who can design pamplets & flyers when needed & set up templates for numerous forms. 

Knowledge of payroll, tax compliance and book-keeping skills is not essential but is an advantage.

I am looking for someone who is quick thinking, highly organised, shows initiative and who is able to work out time saving ways to run my business.

The applicant must be able to work without supervision, multi-task and have a pleasant demeanour.

May also be required to do some promotional work to help expand the business.

The applicant will  be required to do on-site work at my home office in Cheltenham so living locally is an advantage. (Please note there eventually most work will be offsite and can be done remotely)
