ABOUT THE CLIENT: 

Our client is one of Australia's most iconic Intimate apparel Retail Chains, that has been operating in Australia for more than 25 years.  They are currently looking for an experienced EA to manage and assist the GM of product.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Our Client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant to provide support and assistance as required to the GM of product in all facets of the business. You would also be accountable for maintaining a professional presentation and approach as a front line contact to the GM of product. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing the GM of Product's appointments and calendar
  • Assisting GM of Product with all ad-hoc duties both business and personal
  • Support the GM of Product in working as efficiently as possible and ensure she is aware of and reminded of all meetings, reporting requirements and deadlines
  • Answer all calls and email correspondence in a professional manner
  • Acting as a confidential assistant to the GM of Product and ensuring she is made aware discreetly of any issues
  • Communicating on the GM of Product's behalf with organisational executives and executives of external organisations
  • Travel and diary management
  • Responding, where possible, to enquiries on behalf of the GM of Product
  • Record and distribute minutes of various meetings
  • Putting POWERPOINT presentations together for Board reports

To be successful for this role you will possess the following qualities:

  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • POWERPOINT EXPERIENCE Is critical
  • Experience in implementing process improvements/efficiencies
  • Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organisation
  • Determination to achieve results
  • Openness/willingness to change
  • Desire to understand strategic direction of the business
  • The ability to anticipate what may be required
  • Ability to work autonomously and exercise discretion
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Experience in developing working relationships with a wide and varied stakeholder base operating in cross functional teams

Only candidates with relevant, experience of a minimum of 3+ years will be considered.

Experience in a Retail /product environment would be highly regarded, but not essential...
