An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced, friendly and motivated Receptionist/Accounts Officer to join our CBD-based Property Group.

In this fast paced role, you will be highly organised, apply strong attention to detail and use initiative to forward plan and multi task. Naturally, you will be a well presented people person, enjoy being part of a team and also to work autonomously.

The Role:

Reception

  • Attending to walk-in clients, answering and directing incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Perform general office duties such as: ordering office supplies, filing, database management, preparation and distribution of correspondence, general office upkeep
  • Management of incoming and outgoing mail
  • Administration support such as word processing & document preparation
  • Liaising with Clients, Residents and Contractors
  • When required, provide PA and administrative support to our Executive Team

Accounts Officer

  • Debtor receipting
  • Creditor payments processing
  • Data entry and Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of end of month reports
  • Archive and e-filing system management

In addition, you will be required to have:

  • A cheerful, professional approach with excellent presentation
  • A strong background in office administration and accounts
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • High level competency in the use of MYOB or similar
  • Sound understanding of accountancy principles
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • High level of organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to work and the ability to multi task
  • A proven ability to adapt and learn quickly
