About the role:

Reporting to the Team Leader of Customer Support, Customer Support is responsible for maintaining client relationships within the Victorian Skip business and assisting the sales representatives with their customer requirements. Your role will include but will not be restricted to:

  • Sales Support to Sales Executives
  • Day to day management of customer’s needs and expectations
  • Follow up on email and phone enquiries
  • Data entry
  • Effectively maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships
  • Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified time-frame
  • Daily phone calls to skip bin clients (VIC) regarding timing of bin deliveries
  • Perform collection activities as required
  • Assist with VIC overflow phone calls from the call centre in Sydney
  • Action credit notes by investigating issues and upload into Bingo live for approval
  • Participate in continued education to learn about new products and improve sales techniques
  • Complete proactive customer "good will" calls
  • Respond to COD related enquiries that come through accounts receivable and enquiries emails
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
  • Work as a team to accomplish results
  • Make recommendations to the Sales Manager (Skips VIC) on customer complaints and develop solutions to resolve issues
  • Manage, update and maintain client information in the company database
  • Other duties where required

About You:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or prior sales experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge recycling practices and procedures preferred
  • Working knowledge of Building and Construction industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of data and administrative management practices and procedures
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of office software packages (MS Office)
  • Superior communication skills and follow-up skills
  • Ability to deal politely and effectively with inquires and complaints
