Director of First Impressions - Fridays Only

 

An exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team on a part time basis and job share with our Director of First Impressions.

The Director of First Impressions is one of the most important roles in the agency and crucial to ensuring The Works is a great place to work. 

This role is part time, working Friday's only, our current Director of First Impressions works Monday-Thursday. 
 
Main Responsibilities
 
Reception:

  • Ensure the phone is always answered with-in 3 rings and that all messages are delivered to the appropriate person in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure that The Works reception is immaculately clean and tidy with minimal clutter
  • Ensure the entire office, including meeting rooms, storage areas, break out areas and people’s workstations are with-out clutter and clean and tidy every day
  • Greet clients, visitors and suppliers with a can-do attitude and provide them with 5 star service
  • Manage all internal and external couriers for the office
  • Build strong relationships of trust and reliance with all agency staff 


Office Management:

  • Forge strong relationships with our vendors and suppliers 
  • Work with the GM, People & Culture Director and Finance Director to make sure we have the best possible operating systems in place
  • Co-ordinate and manage all office travel ensuring we are getting the best value available
  • Maintain all office suppliers making sure they are always fully stocked while looking at efficiencies and costing’s
  • Keep kitchens and meeting rooms well stocked, clean and tidy at all times
  • Conduct weekly maintenance audits throughout the office ensuring that any improvements are acted upon immediately
  • Carry out monthly reviews on office overheads and expenditure looking a efficiency and seeing where we can make cost savings
  • Support the leadership team with ad-hoc requests

  • You must either have Australian permanent residency or a valid full time working visa

 
This role is to work as a job share with the existing Director of First Impressions and is one day a week, working Fridays only and any holiday/sickness cover when required.

 

We will consider candidates that prefer 2 days a week, however our ideal candidate will be happy to just work Fridays.
