ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Established in the early 90’s this highly credentialed architectural practice continues to grow and expand with three separate practice groups based locally and overseas. With a work culture that is both relationship and team driven, they champion collaboration and place their clients at the heart of their business.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Whilst you are likely to be based in their light-filled North Sydney Office with expansive harbour views, they might also consider the Melbourne practice as an alternative location for the perfect candidate. This is a key role that is focused on facilitating an effective and accessible work environment for the Practice Directors in their work, their interactions with each other, the practice leaders and the team.

You can expect to be involved in a range of activities related to the day-to-day running of the business and the championing and execution of business related activities.

Your core duties will include;
  • Diary management for the executive group including meetings, travel arrangements, appointments
  • Working with practice directors and teams across the studios to ensure they are well supported in their activities.
  • Attending and minuting strategy meetings and coordinating follow up of actions arising – this could involve interstate or overseas travel.
  • Supporting business development activities including research, events, marketing and tendering.
  • Day to day HR activities.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and ideally a background working in architecture or built environment, design or some other creative environment.

Your personal attributes will include highly developed organisational ability, an action oriented persona, a highly developed EI and a natural ability to motivate  and inspire others.

It goes without saying that you will have the highest level of written and verbal communication skills and be experienced with the MS Office suite in a PC environment. Capability with the Adobe suite (particularly InDesign) will be helpful.
