We are seeking a driven, motivated and proactive Contracts, Bids or Tenders Specialist to join our busy team in a permanent role. The primary function of this role is to work collaboratively with the established team in an incredibly busy and high volume environment by identifying and qualifying tender opportunities and assisting in the creation, writing, editing and submission of any tenders and bids. The Contracts Specialist will work across our entire business depending on the nature of each tender or contract. Our preferred candidate is proactive, takes initiative in their work and is focused on positive outcomes for our business. To work in this team you must be flexible, adaptable and able to multitask effectively and you must have outstanding excel skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and qualify any bid or tender opportunities
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to gather information
  • Coordinate, create and format tender documents
  • Set up and manage kick off meetings
  • Build and develop strong business relationships with internal stakeholders to understand the unique needs and areas of their businesses
  • Day to day use of Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SAP
  • Assist in any overflow or ad hoc work as needed
  • Manage time effectively to meet tight and critical deadlines
  • Write proposals using effective and professional language

 

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A 'can do' proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • 3-6 years overall bids/tenders/contracts work experience with at least 2 year in a similar role in a medium to large multinational organisation
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry strongly preferred
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to self-direct your work and not wait to be told what to do
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Change agility
  • Proven strong communication skills across a broad range of business partners and internal stakeholders
