ABOUT THE ROLE
AFL SportsReady currently have four exciting positions available for Indigenous individuals wanting to pursue a career in the corporate/business industry.  As the successful applicant, you will:

  • Be employed by AFL SportsReady
  • Work on-site with Australian Research Council – Canberra
  • Study for an accredited qualification: Certificate III in Business

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General administrative support and ad hoc work
  • Contribute to reports, briefing and correspondence
  • Assist with IT systems
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate record keeping, manage paper file records, mail registers and database management
  • Attend to customer service enquiries


SELECTION CRITERIA

  • A permanent right to work in Australia
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to the delivery of quality customer service
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient IT skills


SALARY

As the successful candidate, you will receive:

  • National Training Wage Award + 9.5% Superannuation
  • Fully funded qualification


MORE INFORMATION

People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.

Position is best suited to a(n):

  • Indigenous Australian
  • Recent secondary school leaver
