The Waveroam Group is an expanding SME (20 people) and incorporates businesses such as Chargewave, Roaming Solutions, Roaming SIM and Roaming Data. We sit in the mobile technology space and work across a number of different areas ranging from offering payment and billing solutions to mobile carriers through to providing international roaming voice and data solutions to travellers.

We are looking for a permanent part time Administration and Accounts Assistant to assist the General Manager and Finance Team.

This permanent part time role has a requirement of 20-25 hours per week with some flexibility possible.  If you are looking for a full time role feel free to still apply but let us know that is what you are after and we can consider this for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with the day to day running and maintenance of the office
  • Answering inbound calls and making outbound customer service calls
  • Dispatch for online orders
  • Bookkeeping
  • Assisting in preparing reporting for month end billing
  • Data entry, processing refunds and other finance functions
  • Day to day maintenance of CRM systems
  • Other ad hoc operational, administrative and assistant tasks

What is required:

  • Relevant experience in a similar administration role with exposure to accounting functions
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Suite.  In particular you will need very strong Excel skills with an excellent working knowledge of spreadsheets.  PowerPoint experience also required
  • Display initiative, enthusiasm and an ability to learn quickly and add value to the organization
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with broad stakeholders
  • Ability to work accurately and timely under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • A strong team player with an energetic, positive, friendly and professional attitude
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
  • Permission to work permanently in Australia
