Practice Manager – CBD Health Sydney

Permanent Part-Time position


 

CBD Health Sydney is seeking a part time experienced Practice Manager who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career.

Who we are

 

CBD Health Sydney was established in 1986 and specialize in Osteopathy and Integrative care. Currently we have fifteen practitioners who specialise in a range of modalities including Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Remedial Massage Therapy.

 

This position is permanent part time with some hours being flexible to work remotely.

At this stage and until December 2018 the ideal candidate will be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the practice with the flexibility to work several hours remotely on Thursdays and/or Fridays at their discretion.  


 

The role of Practice Manager
 

  • Be proactive in assisting the business during a time of growth and expansion.

 

  • As the practice manager you will be working together with the business Director to continuously develop and implement efficient and effective strategies for the business.

 

  • You will have the support of 2 to 3 receptionists who work on a rotating roster and will attend to every-day administrative tasks such as managing patient’s appointments, files and payments and the general maintenance of the clinic. There will also be sometimes when you will be required to work on and with reception to answer phone calls and handle patient payments and bookings.

 

Duties

 

  • Management of employee and practitioner rosters

  • Planning of all practice events/meetings

  • Hiring and training of new receptionists

  • Management of our booking programs (Cliniko and Power Diary)

  • Management of practice stock and inventory

  • Practice website management

  • Management of and experience with Cloud based software systems including: Xero, Mac, Cliniko, Google Docs, Power Diary etc. is ideal, training will be provided

  • Marketing and social media strategizing

  • Bookkeeping duties

  • (daily reconciliations, HICAPS and banking transactions, practitioner and employee pays, expense payments, float and petty)

  • Reception duties as required.

 


Ideally you will have the following skills / interests

 

  • A highly organized person who enjoys a busy, varied role

  • An interest in the Osteopathic or Allied treatments

  • Some experience in (Xero, Cliniko, PowerDiary), would be highly desired but not essential

  • Prior experience working in a similar industry, again would be highly desired but not essential.
