First Ray is a passionate importer and distributor of award winning organic, gluten free, natural and eco-friendly products.

We are looking for a seriously organised, super-efficient Office Manager to join our team and to play a pivotal role in the smooth day to day running of the business. 

Your core role will be the overall management of the daily operations and business. You will be a seasoned professional with a hands on and can do attitude, where no task is too big or too small. Your daily routine would include order processing, liaising with customers, all things administrative and providing operational support. This is a full time position, Monday - Friday.

You will be responsible for but not limited to;

  • The smooth day to day operation of the business
  • Order entry in MYOB and processing of orders in two E-commerce web platforms
  • Creating customer accounts & managing trade applications
  • Customer service via phone and email
  • Liaising with the operations team 
  • Liaising with Sales Representatives and Accounts
  • Providing operational assistance with food labelling compliance
  • Updating of products on company websites
  • Liaising with freight companies and suppliers
  • Creating and updating company processes
  • Providing sales and marketing support

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role - experience within the food distribution or wholesale industry will be highly regarded
  • Advanced competency in MYOB, MS Word and Excel
  • High level of competency with CMS, E-commerce platforms
  • Impeccable customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks working in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to work under pressure and have fun along the way
  • A professional, friendly and personable demeanour
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic attitude and happy to be the go to person and problem solver
  • An incisive analytical approach to problem solving
