Legal Support Team Leader
THE ROLE
ERA Legal, a specialist law firm with an outstanding reputation as a leader in insolvency, commercial law and litigation, is seeking a highly motivated Legal Support Team Leader to join our legal support team.
You will be responsible for providing both administrative support to Senior Practitioners and managing our busy team of PAs and legal support staff. Your ability to be proactive and multi-task is essential.

The role is broad and varied but some specific activities include:
- Oversee and coordinate our support team including problem solving to ensure the smooth running of the legal support team;
- Assist with the recruitment, induction and training of new team members;
- Assisting with the development and implementation of office policies and procedures;
- Liaising with lawyers and management to ensure the support team is working effectively with the professional staff
- PA support to the Director of the firm and special counsel including invoicing, document production and calendar and inbox management.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who:
- has experience in a senior legal support role, preferably as a team leader or manager, although for the right candidate experience is not essential;
- possesses knowledge of Federal and NSW court processes, rules and filing systems;
- communicates with colleagues at all levels in a clear and professional manner;
- loves helping others – particularly upskilling junior staff and training new team members;
- excels at keeping themselves and others organised;
- uses their own initiative to get tasks done and is always looking for ways to contribute;
- is able to prioritise numerous conflicting demands.
