Immediate start - 3 month Contract

Well it's all about how we help everyday Aussies to Grow their nuts at Squirrel and we have a lot of fun doing it.  We are a young, very successful fintech business that is committed to changing the bad old ways of the superannuation industry and it's hidden commissions, kick-backs etc.
We have a fun, enthusiastic team and surprise, surprise - we're growing fast.  That's exactly where you come in as part of our Fund Operations team as a Team Assistant on an initial 3 month contract with the potential for it to become a permanent full time position.
Working across a number of functions including software development, finance, accounting, client services and operations this role will keep you busy.

 

Day to day your duties can include:

As a Team Assistant you'll be assisting our busy operations team and our fund accounting team with administrative support including:

  • Creating Self Managed Super Funds for our clients 
  • Preparing documents for superannuation rollovers
  • Contacting super funds on behalf of our clients 
  • Opening of client bank accounts, trading and insurance accounts
  • Updating client details on a daily basis, so excellent attention to detail is a must!
  • Dealing with clients high demands 
  • Being able to react quickly, on the spot to client requests and to work competently under pressure in order to complete those tasks
  • Contacting our clients for any requirements relating to their super fund, both by telephone and email
  • Follow up with external parties on behalf of client services/ fund operation teams
  • Mail collection and distribution
  • Data entry of accounts (AP/AR)
  • Managing stock levels within the office - stationary, food & beverage
  • Working with the Executive Assistant to coordinate client events and team building activities 
  • Setting and re-setting meeting rooms
  • General office housekeeping

Naturally we will provide comprehensive training on the Squirrel systems and business processes so you can be the guru our clients and team expect.

  • Last thing - you must be a permanent resident - we love backpackers but we're looking for someone who can stay with us for a bit longer :)
