Wanting an interesting role with fantastic part-time hours?  Well look no further – we have the perfect opportunity to join a fantastic Accountancy firm in a part-time role where you will perform general Administration and be their Workflow Manager. 

This role is ideal for someone who is looking for part-time work, preferably 8am to 12 noon Monday to Friday (although this may be negotiable for the right candidate for example 9am to 1pm).

The ideal candidate would best describe themselves as a friendly team player with exceptional customer service focus and would love to work within an Accountancy firm who believe in looking after their clients.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Manage the company’s workflow!
  • Send out client check lists, follow up work and request missing information
  • Prepare client work papers ready for Accountants to complete work and update job status in the practice management system
  • Follow up with Accountants weekly on job statuses
  • Track work sent but not returned by following up lodgement declarations fortnightly
  • Lodge client tax returns and activity statements
  • Check client tax assessments and other ATO correspondence sending to clients after manager has reviewed
  • Prepare correspondence to clients
  • Liaising with the ATO and ASIC regarding client matters
  • Prepare documentation as required to comply with ASIC regulations
  • Perform ASIC, Business Name and Title Searches
  • Fortnightly debt collection
  • Filing and Archive maintenance
  • General errands including banking, collection and delivery audits, Woolworths and kitchen duties
  • Record daily time and outlays in firm practice management system
  • Assist in client work as directed

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

 

  • Experience working in an accountancy firm  and dealing with ASIC/ATO a bonus but not essential - happy to train the right person
  • Exude Customer Service – build strong rapport with clients!
  • High attention to detail essential and take pride in your work
  • Accurate typing and intermediate to advanced skills in MSOffice
  • Seeking stability and longevity – be part of a team who have been with the firm for the long-term!!!
