Complete Machine Tools is a small family owned and operated business that imports and sells machinery to the metal working industry Australia wide.

We have modern offices located on the south west of Brisbane in Seventeen Mile Rocks and are looking for an office professional with strong administration skills who works well both autonomously and within a team environment. The successful applicant will report to the Office Manager and will have comprehensive training on the business' internal procedures.

The role is both challenging and fast paced. The successful applicant must be able to work well in a fast paced environment, have high attention to detail, be proactive and maintain a professional phone manner, excellent presentation, good organisational skills and be able to prioritise effectively.

Initially the job will entail - 

  • Designing a new 100+ page product catalogue
  • Designing a new website
  • Designing brochures
  • Designing adverts for industry magazines
  • Keeping industry websites up to date
  • Designing proposals 
  • Ordering, invoicing & despatching spare parts

Ideally some design experience would be preferential, as design tasks get completed the applicant's duties and requirements will include but not be limited to.

• Document preparation and printing
• Data Entry

• Answer telephone calls and communicate messages efficiently and accurately
• Liaising with overseas & local suppliers

There is also the possibility to move into an internal sales role once familiar with the product range. 

Must have experience and be proficient in MS office software and a high level of computer literacy. 


A minimum of 4 - 5 years' experience in a similar role is essential. This is a permanent full time position and we would require the applicant to start immediately. The role also offers a performance based bonus paid once a year to the successful candidate.
