Airwork Fixed Wing Division is part of the Airwork Group of Companies.
Airwork own and operates a fleet of ten Boeing 737 freighter aircraft around Australia and New Zealand as well as providing MRO services to some of the major Airlines in Australasia.
An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced applicant to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, the successful applicant will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the managers and staff of the Fixed Wing Division to facilitate the efficient operation of the Australian organisation.
The key tasks include:
- General administration duties including maintaining office supplies, scheduling and minuting meetings, collecting and disseminating mail, maintenance of office equipment, coordinate and maintain records for staff, mobile phones, parking, airport access and ASIC cards.
- Undertake accounts payable functions, including account reconciliations
- Coordination and procurement of uniforms for staff as required.
- Prepare and maintain journey logs and other data entry requirements.
- Collect and distribute flight documentation as required.
- Preparation of induction documents.
- Other general administrative duties.
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following:
- At least 5 years prior experience in a senior administration/executive support role.
- High level attention to detail with a focus on professional written communication.
- High level issue resolution skills with the ability to think on your feet and develop proactive solutions.
- Excellent time management and task organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work with confidential information exercising the highest degree of discretion.
- Ability to work autonomously if managers are away from the office.
- Accountability for the quality of your work
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office, Skype and other office systems
You must have:
- Experience within the aviation industry.
- The ability to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30 – 5pm.
- Must be available immediately and be ready to hit the ground running!
