About the role:
The role of Receptionist/Administrator is an important position within the team at Head Office and offers plenty of variety and scope for the right individual to shine and grow within the organisation.
We need someone who is a multi-tasker with a love for sport to juggle reception duties and general admin tasks and become an integral part of the business and be a real team player with the other members of staff. Someone who takes pride in their work and can speak to customers and our sponsored athletes in a respectful, professional manner. Being the first point of contact for customers, you will endeavour to assist them with their enquiry to resolution.
You will ensure that all receptionist and administration responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities of the position:
This is a vital role to our business, being the first point of contact for our customers, with a willingness to help wherever needed.
In this busy and varied role, your responsibilities will include:
Customer service, answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls while providing accurate information when needed
Administrative duties, including collating and maintaining administration related spreadsheets, inputting and collating orders
Update and maintain customer and athlete database
Process customer returns and log issues and queries
Assisting with events and functions both internal and external
Attending and contributing to weekly team meetings
Provide support and backup for all customer service tasks within the company including for our sponsored athlete program
Organise social media rostering and assist in monitoring and engagement requirements
Provide support to the sales and marketing team as required
Provide general office support.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have:
Experience working within a Receptionist/Administration role.
Exceptional customer, communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to staff and customers at all levels
Polished and professional telephone skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
Exceptional skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and database applications with fast and accurate keyboard skills
High work ethic, strong sense of urgency, high attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Well-developed organisational skills, ability to work well under pressure and prioritise your workload
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisation skills are mandatory
Enthusiasm, positive outlook and team oriented work ethic
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivation and flexibility
Work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
Knowledge of the swimwear labels an advantage
A friendly and cheerful demeanour combined with an ongoing goal to excel in customer service
