The Company
Morgan Electrics and Gas is a family owned and operated business established in Geelong in 1965. Now in its third generation, the business has built a name for itself as a household appliance servicing and household appliance spare parts company that people can rely on and come back to.
We carry out all our work with the utmost professionalism and care. All our tradesmen are well trained and experienced in electrical and gas appliance servicing, repairs and spare parts.
The Role
As a member of the Administration team, this position will include:
- Responding to calls and email inquiries to resolve issues and provide a high level of customer service
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal staff to book repairs ensuring all paperwork is completed
- Assist with administrative tasks including document preparation, correspondence, filing, updating of database and maintaining accurate records
- Assist with the management of Social Media, curating content and posting in line with the business marketing plan
What you bring
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years’ working in an administrative role. Previous experience in a trade-based business will be a bonus, as will an understanding of Social Media marketing.
You are hands-on and organised, with a solid understanding of the Microsoft Office suite. A strong customer service focus with both internal and external customers, your strong interpersonal skills allow you to influence others and resolve issues. Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
A demonstrated fast learner, pedantic about quality with an eye for accuracy and detail, you will display a high degree of initiative, problem-solving and a drive for continuous improvement. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities, while still dealing with the day to day issues, will be reflected in your capability to manage your time to achieve results.

A part-time role of 20 hours per week to be worked across 4 or 5 days, there is flexibility with the spread of hours and potential for more in the future. Attractive remuneration will be offered commensurate with your skills and experience.
