The Role
The Senior Executive Officer, Consumer Advisory Group is responsible for ensuring the successful function and execution of board supported initiatives and consumer engagement strategies.
The Senior Executive Officer is responsible for promoting and supporting active engagement with consumer and community groups and maintaining the link between the relevant projects and committee/s.
You will provide high level secretariat support to the Consumer Advisory Group and support the integration of the consumer voice into policy and advocacy activities.
The Successful Candidate
Ideally you will have high level experience in secretariat and project work and experience working with committees and consumer groups. Along with relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience, you will possess:
- Experience working with complex stakeholders
- Strong project management and research skills particularly in the preparation of briefs and business case requirements
- Supporting the implementation of activities, developing KPI’s and measurements of success
- Political awareness and sensitivity
- Strong written skills, particularly in brief and report writing
- Evidence of strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ad hoc tasks as required
