About Us
South Gippsland Hospital is a vital part of the Foster community, near Wilsons Promontory. It is a small rural health service with 16 acute in-patient beds, a peri-operative unit, birthing suite, theatre, Urgent Care Centre and Community Health Centre along with ambulance and radiology facilities. SGH is well supported by medical staff from the precinct medical centre.
About the role
The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Board Secretary has day to day responsibility for providing confidential administrative support to the CEO and Board of Management.
We are looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant who thrives on providing high level, confidential support the CEO and meets the following criteria:
- Significant experience in the role of Executive Assistant, Board Secretary &/ or senior administration
- Experience in preparing meeting documentation and recording of meeting Minutes.
- High level verbal and written interpersonal skills in a confidential environment
- High level skills in the suite of Microsoft Office software
- Skills and experience in stakeholder management
- Understanding of corporate governance principles and the role of policies and procedures
- Personal commitment to professional development
