The Position
The City is seeking a highly motivated customer focused officer to cover a period of maternity leave. As a growth Council, the Engineering Directorate is delivering increased services to the community.
Our high achieving team prides itself on providing exceptional levels of customer service and a positive and collaborative approach in all their work, so we require a professional and experienced customer support officer to complement this standard.
This position will play a vital role in the administration, customer liaison, project updates, publications and generation of reports. The position will work closely with other Engineering customer support officers at the Administration Centre and you may be required to relieve in a similar position at the Operations Centre, should the need arise.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to make a contribution to our dynamic City.
The successful applicant will possess;
- Previous administrative and customer service focussed experience within an Engineering/ technical environment.
- Technical research and report writing skills.
- Advanced computer literacy skills i.e. Microsoft Office
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills including the ability to effectively communicate with a broad cross section of people and groups.
- Experience in prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes.
Salary: 58,837 – 69,753 (depending on skills and experience).
