The Personnel Connection is a boutique Recruitment agency who supply both permanent and Temporary staff to our clients across Sydney since opening in 2000.
We are seeking a Sales Support Supervisor for our client in Auburn, a short walk from Clyde railway station. Reporting to the local General manager, you have a strong dotted line to the regional office.
Whilst you will be supervising a small team the focus is on your communication skills: communicating both with your team, the Sales representatives, and the various internal divisions within the organisation who manufacture, import and distribute products.
Working closely with the Sales Representatives, your team:
- prepares quotes;
- processes orders;
- where products are not stocked, place orders on the appropriate internal division;
- administer claim processing and stock returns; and
- keeps customers and sales representatives informed regarding shipment dates, out of stock situations and delays to delivery.
To be successful in this position you:
- would have probably come from a company where products come from a variety of divisions and delivery to the customer has to be carefully negotiated;
- Have strong written and spoken communication, with the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
