United Petroleum is an independent, Australian-owned petrol and convenience company which offers customers premium quality fuels and competitive pricing Australia-wide.  With 400+ service stations and unmanned locations nationally, United Petroleum is dynamic and fast-paced with very exciting new format plans in place. 

In this pivotal support role, you will represent United Petroleum as the first point of contact (in person and over the phone).  Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will take pride in performing the following activities:

  • Establishing efficient administrative policies to streamline office management;
  • Set up, update and maintenance of our new electronic filing system;
  • Distributing  incoming mail electronically to the relevant departments;
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to negotiate dealings/propositions to better United staff; 
  • Coordinate all courier matters;
  • Reception coverage;
  • Ensure communal areas and meeting rooms are presentable and stocked;
  • Manage/coordinate a commercial kitchen;
  • Valet service and coordination;
  • Ensure office is clear of obstructions and potential hazard;
  • Accompany contractors around the premises;
  • Prepare delicious coffee!
  • Performing ad hoc administrative duties, as required.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Outstanding personal presentation, polished manners and exceptional interpersonal skills;
  • Reception/administration experience, along with a high attention to detail;
  • Have a sense of urgency, with excellent professional conduct;
  • Apply common sense and be able to work autonomously;
  • Works well in a high pressure environment;
  • Intermediate proficiency on MS Office suite of programs; and
  • An enthusiastic, energetic and positive approach to embracing a new opportunity.
