Position Summary

Council is seeking to appoint a Team Leader Administration to join the Delivery Support & Performance, based in the Operations business unit.

This position is a key leadership role and responsible for overseeing administration operations support to the Operations Business Units and to ensure there is an effective information flow and resources are deployed efficiently for overall administration support and assistance across the whole of Operations Business Unit.

 

About you

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  2. The ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, by-laws, regulations etc in a Public Sector environment.
  3. High level analytical skills and demonstrated experience carrying out audits and process related reviews.
  4. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing compliance, assurance systems and frameworks.
  5. Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors or the ability to become a member.
  6. High level communication, collaboration and negotiation skills to successfully engage and influence management, employees and stakeholders.
  7. Substantial demonstrated experience in a customer service environment, with proven achievement of high quality results.
  8. Proficient literacy and communication (verbal and written English) skills including the preparation of brief of evidence, reports and correspondence.
  9. Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
