We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our regional site based at Geelong, VIC. Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for the administration support of the site and its team members.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Professionally answer and manage all incoming calls
  • Monitor the message bank for customer bin collections and enter into the Oasis system
  • Manage all outgoing mail including the preparation of overnight courier bags
  • Receive over the counter customer payments and credit card payments over the phone and forwarding copies to Accounts Receivable (AR) team

  • Maintain an accurate and tidy filing system for all paperwork
  • Comply with all EMS defined procedures and within the scope of the role, be accountable for acting in support of the EMS
  • Generate the bin permit spread sheet for Wyndham City, Surf Coast and Geelong City councils

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team.
  • Strong data entry, numeracy and keyboarding skills
  • Basic to Intermediate computer experience in Microsoft Office and software applications
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Effective time management with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Pleasant phone manner with a pro-active, positive and flexible attitude
  • High degree of diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and administration skills.
