The Swim Fit Group manage friendly, community based facilities with well maintained pools and programs that are well patronised by a wide cross section of the community.

We have recently been awarded the fantastic facilities on the Western Downs in Queensland and are now looking for a dynamic, out going manager for our Dalby Facility.

The Facility Manager will be responsible for organising, controlling and coordinating the financial and operational management of the Dalby Aquatic Centre, ensuring the proper and efficient operation of the facility. The manager will develop the business in line with financial KPI's, creating and sustaining safe and productive environments for all patrons and team members.

The Dalby Aquatic Centre will operate all year round and include:

  •  50m outdoor pool and an indoor 25m heated pool
  •  Childrens splash pool
  •  Kiosk and outdoor BBQ area

The programs will include:

  • Learn to Swim
  • Squads
  • Aqua

The successful applicant will possess:

  •  A minimum of 3 years in a Management role
  • Exceptional sales and customer service skills
  • Great communication and Leadership Skills
  • Ability to motivate a team and create a fun, positive working environment

Selection Criteria will be based on:

  1. Demonstratable Management Experience in the Operation and Running of a business
  2.  Demonstratable WHS experience, compliance and facility risk assessments
  3.  Demonstratable Computer Literacy including Word, Excel and Outlook
  4.  Demonstratable experience in financial management of a business e.g. understanding financial statements and working within set budgets
  5.  Demonstratable experience in pool maintenance and water balancing
  6. Demonstratable experience managing staff, including junior and casual staff

To even be considered for this fabulous role you will need genuine previous experience with team management, KPI's and financial management.
