Salesperson – Farming and Rural Supplies

Costello Rural is an independent, locally owned and operated Agribusiness based in Corryong, North East Victoria.

The Role:

Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, this is a hands-on role where you will work collaboratively with our team to provide support for business’ and producers in our region and drive both on farm and in-store sales for a wide range of rural merchandise by:

• developing and fostering strong relationships with a targeted group of clients;
• achieving allocated financial objectives;
• maximising promotional opportunities, including assisting at field days and farmer meetings with demonstrations and trial work;

Key Position Requirements

• Great customer service skills
• Attention to detail with ability to prioritise and execute tasks
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate
• Able to work in a busy environment
• Driver’s License

The following attributes are highly desirable but not essential;

• Forklift Licence (or willing to obtain)
• Previous experience working in a similar role involving customer service, retail or sales
• Product knowledge of Animal Health, Fencing, Agricultural Chemicals and Stock Feed.
• Agsafe accreditation
