Casual position for an experienced veterinary nurse. The practice is well equipped and handles a large variety of cases. Equipment includes Idexx machine,digital x-ray machine,ultrasound and an ECG machine.We also run a Viva computer system .
The successful applicant would need to be able to work in a large team of nurses and vets, have excellent communication skills,show initiative,have good organisational skills and be passionate about the role within the veterinary profession.They need to show empathy to clients and animals, be willing to do all aspects of veterinary nursing, reception, kennels and surgery and have a good sense of humour . Ability to work productively in a fast pace environment.Must have excellent numeracy and literacy skills,dedication to the job and the practice.
Previous experience working in a clinic is preferred must be Qualified/ Registered.
Hours of work (shifts consist of following : hours will vary , up to 38 hours a week )
- 7am - 3pm
- 8.00am - 4.30pm
- 10.30am-5.00pm
- 11.30am-6.30pm
- 12.30pm-7.00pm
Rostered for 1 Saturday Shift per month
- 8am - 1pm
Willing to work some public holiday on a rostered basis , have the flexibility to cover other shifts as needed will be viewed very favourably .
