About the role
Based at our Storm Bay Zone 2 site, near Tinderbox, the Fish Performance Manager is responsible for the management of fish performance, planning, analysis and monitoring across the Zone. This includes the management and monitoring of fish growth, feed conversion rates, feed performance assessments and organising and conducting performance checks on fish stock to ensure targets are being met. This position is also responsible for the monitoring and reduction of environmental waste. You will work closely with the On Water Maintenance team to ensure the success of the Zone and overall fish performance.
About you
To be successful in this role, it is essential you have extensive experience in the aquaculture or marine farm industry and/or previous experience as a Feeder or in a similar role. You will possess well-developed communication skills, and the ability to analyse data and provide reports. You will be able to motivate the team to work together to provide an efficient farming operation, and encourage and drive innovation from staff to improve fish performance.
Preferred candidates will hold a Certificate, Diploma or Tertiary qualification in Aquaculture.
