The Producer Consultation and Adoption team has a rewarding opportunity for a Project Manager to manage and administer all operational aspects of MLA’s flagship delivery adoption program Profitable Grazing Systems (PGS).
This role can be based in North Sydney, Brisbane or Armidale.
Position Purpose:
- To manage and administer all operational aspects of MLA’s flagship delivery adoption program Profitable Grazing Systems (PGS) to achieve the vision and key performance indicators set out in the business plan.
- To manage operations of the Producer Innovation Fast Track program (PIFT) ultimately bringing PIFT and PGS together to form an innovative solution to speed up the rate of producer adoption
- Measure the baseline and changes in producer businesses relating to key profit drivers associated with cost of production and productivity leading to high impact outcomes.
- Coordinate and manage the delivery leadership team, state coordinators and delivery network.
- Establish and maintain strong quality controls to ensure a high standard of deliverer performance.
- Effectively monitor, evaluate, and report on the program KPI’s and industry impact and return on investment
- To work across MLA Business Units and activities to identify leverage and linkage opportunities
- Provide strategic advice to the Steering Committee and MLA management.
- Create opportunities for producer to engage in PGS directly or through feeder activities.
The role requires proven high level skills and experience in coordination of adoption programs, with a background in extension, project design, delivery and evaluation preferably in a commercial environment. The ability to build and maintain diverse networks, an understanding of the theory and practice of supported learning, experience in the development, management, implementation & analysis of monitoring and evaluation plans to demonstrate impact and having excellent organisation and communication skills will be important in this role.
