The Regional Agriculture Landcare Facilitator will work closely with farmers, land managers, farming systems groups, agri-business, industry bodies and agencies to facilitate and implement workshops, events and activities that promote sustainable farming outcomes that achieve Australian Government objectives for sustainable agriculture and natural resources outcomes.
This role will forge strong collaborative partnerships and networks to identify and address priority issues for sustainable grazing and land management, whilst delivering projects that increase the awareness and adoption of best practice and new innovations in sustainable production.
Kangaroo Island (KI) offers an idyllic combination of spectacular coastline, breathtaking beaches, unspoilt natural wilderness areas and a laidback lifestyle. KI offers excellent health, dental, schools, sporting, sailing and fishing amenities.
Essential Qualifications: A current National Police Clearance is required for this position, please provide with your application.
Requirements
A tertiary qualification in agriculture, natural resources management or similar is desirable.
