As an Irrigation 2IC you will be under direction of the Water Irrigiation Manager and will assist in the day-to-day irrigation operations of a large scale almond orchard.
The successful applicant will assist the Water Manager in collecting and assessing soil moisture data, assist with maintaining and filing accurate records, including water table readings, and irrigation maintenance on bore sites and dam pumps. They will also assist to ensure safe and proper use of all equipment, and all farm policies and procedures are implemented.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous expereince in a similar role
- Experience operating PLC and Motorola Irrigation systems would be an advantage but not essential.
