We are currently looking for a Streetgym Instructor to deliver Streetgym activities and group facilitation.

About the role:

We are currently looking for a Streetgym Instructor to join our StreetgYm program. StreetgYm is a youth program run in public parks and reserves, aimed at youth aged 12+, which uses sports and fitness activities to connect with and support potentially at risk youth. We provide a safe space and an opportunity for the young people to connect with youth workers and other supportive organisations.

Streetgym operates every week during the school terms, on Wednesday 3-6pm at Telopea. This is an ongoing program for the next 6 months, and this role will require you to attend during this time. Additionally, this program will be held on another day of the week (likely Tuesday) in Toongabbie for one full school term later in the year.

To be successful in this role, you will have

• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR
• Have completed or currently studying related courses (youth work, psychology, social work, teaching etc)
• Passion for working  with youth
• Willingness to assist with creating an exciting and creative program
• Ability to have empathy, patience, and a positive nature towards others
