Cluster Lead – Mental Health

A position has become available for a Cluster Lead to join our Mind Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing located in Wangaratta, Regional Victoria.
The Cluster Lead is an integral role in the operational success of the Mind’s Fee for Service business, inclusive of NDIS. This position will lead a small team of Mental Health Practitioners based in the Mind Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing to ensure high quality services are delivered to our customers.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, this position will support a group of staff to achieve optimal collective performance in a team around the customer approach. The Cluster Lead oversees the allocation and productivity capacity of the cluster to ensure individualised person centred care is delivered.
In this role you will:
- work full time 38 hours per week, on a fixed term 12 month contract
- be the focal point of the Cluster supporting staff to understand the model and how this team approach will provide additional value and opportunities for customers.
- work closely with the Business Development team and Centre Manager to become a subject matter expert on NDIS and Fee for Service operations.
- engage the customer in person or over the phone to ensure they are fully aware of the role of support coordination in assisting them with the use their NDIS plan effectively.
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by Mind
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- experience working within a recovery oriented framework
- demonstrated commitment to and understanding of approaches which support the recovery of people with mental health challenges and;
