Life Education Queensland is a health promotion charity and the state’s largest nonprofit provider of drug and health education to children.
We are seeking a General Manager to grow our relationships with our financial supporters, both new and existing. This includes approximately 9,000 regular donors acquired through face-to-face, as well as managing and developing new revenue streams through fundraising. This position also manages the face-to-face acquisition and retention of more than 600 schools and pre-schools that participate annually in the Life Education program.
Reporting to the CEO you will lead a fundraising team which includes a small supporter services contact team which is responsible for inbound and outbound telemarketing to existing and lapsed supporters.
You will be responsible for achieving the following outcomes;
- Develop and manage the implementation of an integrated fundraising and marketing strategy that drives significant revenue growth to support the organisation’s vision and mission.
- Strengthen our calls to action and fundraising proposition to maximize fundraising success.
- Develop the systems and processes to manage supporter data effectively, including CRM and EDM platforms.
- Effectively utilize both online and offline channels through a communications plan that drives donor engagement and revenue growth.
- Develop and manage the implementation of strategies to reduce donor attrition and failed payments as well as strategies to re-activate lapsed donors.
- Drive growth in the number of schools participating in the Life Education program through both new acquisition and retention of existing schools.
Selection Criteria :
- Demonstrated success in fundraising management at a senior level within a not-for-profit organization
- Experience of managing a regular giving program where donors are acquired via face-to-face
- Marketing or direct marketing experience preferred
- Strategic thinker, with the ability to translate strategy into action
- Skilled at providing direction, guidance and mentoring to the fundraising team
- Passionate about the work of Life Education and our cause of empowering children to live a safe, healthy life
- A proven track record of driving net revenue growth
