The Northern Family & Domestic Violence Service (NFDVS) is the lead provider and access point for the integrated family violence service system for women and children in the Northern Metropolitan sub-region.  The NFDVS provides a range of support services to women and their children who have experienced family violence. This position sits within the High Risk Team, embedded in the wider program.

We are seeking a Coordinator to lead the Risk Assessment & Management Panel (RAMP) in the North East local government area which has been established for the past 4 years. You will work collaboratively with a team of highly skilled family violence workers to facilitate, coordinate and manage referrals to the program. You will play a key role in negotiating, developing and maintaining all aspects of the Panel and reviewing its outcomes.

The successful applicant must have a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare or similar, with an understanding of the impact of family violence on the mother and child, and the ability to articulate a practice framework including engagement and assessment. You will also have demonstrated experience in the provision of crisis intervention and casework with women and children from diverse backgrounds who have experienced family violence. You will have a commitment to working collaboratively with the capacity to negotiate and liaise with other agencies and the community.
