Queensford College is an established Registered Training Organisation providing ELICOS and VET training in Business, Management, Accounting, Community Services and Hospitality Qualifications.

 

Located in the heart of Brisbane CBD, our Campus is only a leisurely stroll to exciting restaurants and cafes on Eagle Street Pier with iconic views of the Story Bridge. About the Role:

We are searching for a motivated, professional and high- achieving Trainer to deliver practical training and provide outstanding support to our students on a full-time basis at our Brisbane Campus. The successful applicant would have previous experience in training and assessing students via various modes of delivery. The delivery would be for CHC30113 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and CHC50113 - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for, train and assess students via various modes of delivery
  • Provide outstanding student support
  • Administration, updating competency results and student records
  • Contribute to and undertake administration procedures for the coordination of high quality training in the Early Childhood Education and Care Department
  • Contribute to and undertake quality assurance processes within the team & organisation
  • Develop new, and revise existing training and assessment materials and conduct, host and/or participate in validation sessions
  • Participate in professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to and maintain the delivery of high quality customer service to external & internal clients
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies & strategic objectives of the organisation & regulatory bodies.

 

Essential Qualifications  and Licences Required:  

  • TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • CHC50113 - Diploma of Early Childhood Education or equivalent, or higher
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)

 

Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years of experience in working in the Early Childhood sector
  • Previous experience in training and assessing students via various modes of delivery
