Mid Value Donor Specialist - Amnesty International

Amnesty International Australia works both at home and internationally. They work across many areas including Indigenous communities, people seeking asylum, unfair detention, fighting a fare justice system, gender and sexuality and all other wider human rights issues.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Develop the overall 3-year strategy, annual plan, budget, processes and supporter journeys for Mid Donors
• Use of data and segmentation to identify prospects
• Combine both relationship fundraising and direct marketing techniques to develop the Mid Donor program
• Deliver tailored supporter journeys
• Build and develop relationships with Mid-tier donors (who give up to $10,000 annually to Amnesty International Australia)
• Create and grow a pipeline of prospect Major Donors through direct marketing processes
• Personalized and impactful stewardship of this group of supporters
• Work collaboratively with members of the Fundraising team, as well as the Philanthropy Team, to develop an integrated approach to Mid Donor communication
• Plan and execute the Mid Donor engagement strategy including; events, webinars, video, mail and email and identify new and innovative ways of deepening engagement and soliciting further income
• Identify, cultivate and steward donors who have the propensity to give at Mid Donor level through tailored supporter journeys, direct marketing techniques and filtering mass communications
• Work with the team to Design and incorporate direct mail and online communications & appeals into the Mid Donor solicitation strategy
• Report on key metrics for growth in Mid Donor income, and ensure relevant database/s are maintained to achieve a high standard of relationship management
• Identify and evaluate new fundraising opportunities through data segmentation, testing and innovation
• Personally engage with donors and will successfully ‘making the ask’ to solicit large gifts

  
Skills & Attributes
  

• Experience managing a pipeline of donors using a direct marketing approach
• Proven success in donor/customer cultivation and stewardship
• Proven high level ability to formulate a strategic plan and action plan
• Demonstrated ability in using data and segmentation to tailor communications and drive response
• Demonstrated ability in managing direct marketing projects, including the design, personalisation and production of materials
• Demonstrated ability in creating compelling donor proposals and stories to solicit large gifts
• Ability to interpret data in order to identity and manage donors
• Experience in Mid or Major Donor stewardship and cultivation
