We're looking for experienced staff to join our team in providing high-quality personal care and domestic assistance to clients living in their own homes in Maroubra, Matraville, Mascot, Redfern & surrounding areas.
About the role
In this casual role, you'll be supporting our clients in their own homes. Some of the services you'll be providing include:
- personal care, like showering and dressing
- transfers (formal training in Manual Handling required)
- meal preparation
- assistance with eating
- light domestic duties
- transport
- respite and social support
We offer competitive pay rates, paid weekly, and our team of friendly coordinators are available to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round.
Our ideal candidate
You will have:
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent
- current HLTAID003 Provide First Aid certificate
- current HLTAID001 Provide CPR certificate
- current Manual Handling (Person Transfers) certificate
- current National Police Check
- current Working with Children Check
- experience in providing services to older persons or people with a disability
- reliable transport
Applicants that have experience providing services to quadriplegic persons with a spinal injury will be highly regarded.
