This is a unique and innovative position working with Flintwood Disability Services. The focus of the role is to support Participants and families to access navigate and understand the NDIS system.

Reporting to the General Manager, your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Main contact for all Flintwood Participants and families regarding NDIS information
• To engage families, build relationships and trust
• Provide referrals to community agencies
• Market Flintwood and the services provided
• Enable families to make their own decisions and choices.
• Stay up to date with industry changes and standards

You will need:

• Minimum of 12 months familiarity with the NDIS scheme
• A minimum of 2 years within the disability sector
• intermediate skills with Microsoft office suite and a client record management system
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• To have a solutions style focus approach
• Have a high level of professional and emotional intelligence
• A strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
• To be approachable, friendly and supportive to Participants and families
• Be a highly organised individual with excellent time management skills and able to work independently.
• A strong commitment to the rights of people with a disability.
• Hold a valid and current Australian Driver's Licence
• Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police check and Working with Children Check
• Hold or be willing to obtain First Aid
