WISE Employment (WISE) is a successful not-for-profit organisation, committed to providing quality employment, training, occupational rehabilitation and allied health services to disadvantaged members of the community through a range of programs.
About the role
This role is responsible for both assessing and assisting those candidates capable of sourcing and applying for jobs themselves, as well as identifying those candidates who may require additional support in their job seeking activities including training and work experience.
You will work with jobseekers, through the government funded contract - jobactive (Australian Government employment services system that supports job seekers and employers).
This is a full time position on a maximum term contract until 30 June 2020, at our Fairfield office.About you
To be successful in this role you will need to be:
Committed and passionate about helping our job seekers to find suitable employment opportunities
Results-oriented and able to meet performance targets
Able to reverse market jobseekers to employers
Effective communication and organisational skills
Previous experience in the employment services industry, and in a sales and/or customer service role is desirable.
An understanding of non-vocational barriers (including drug and mental health) would be highly desirable.
