This is an exciting opportunity for a professional and organised Assistant Manager to work across multiple centres in the south eastern suburbs.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager South East, your responsibilities include supporting the Senior Manager in the effective, efficient operational management of the centre(s) to ensure that centre service delivery runs smoothly on a day to day basis. The role has key responsibility for maintenance of quality service delivery and motivating the team to deliver high quality professional services, which align with RAV’s strategic direction and meet contractual obligations.

 

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications which may include Management, Psychology, Social Work, Social Science, Family Dispute Resolution.
  • Several years’ experience as a manager or team leader, delivering strong management support and advice and maximising team and operational effectiveness.
  • Sound judgment, problem solving skills to support decision making in all areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to contribute to the planning and development of service delivery across a range of programs, developing new areas of practice and innovative strategies while focusing on the achievement of long term goals.
  • Familiarity with the legal context of marriage and family life, including the Family Law Act (advantageous).

 

This is a permanent, full time position, with responsibilities over 4 centres (Boronia, Berwick, Cranbourne and Cranbourne North). A current drivers licence and reliable vehicle is required.
