About the business
Banjima Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (BNTAC) is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate and holds the Native Title Rights and Interests on trust for the Banjima People. The Banjima People received a determination of Native Title in March 2014.
BNTAC is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the facilitation of Governance training for their Board of Directors and Elders Council
About the role
Requirements for EOI
As part of this EOI we are seeking from the successful applicant:
• A detailed needs analysis of existing Directors and the Elders Council;
• The facilitation of Governance training based on the specific required need;
• A Register of Governance Training; and
• Assistance in the development of a Governance Training Program for potential new Directors.
Essential Criteria
• Experience working with Aboriginal Corporations;
• Have a high level of cultural competence;
• Understand culturally informed governance requirements of Native Title Holders; and
• Have a high-level understanding of the Governance requirements of PBC's under the CATSI Act and other relevant legislation.
