About the role:
To support the effective transition of new and current VMCH customers to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Key responsibilities:
- Support staff in customer engagement at key points during their NDIS experience, including pre-planning, customer setup and NDIS service implementation
- Implement and develop innovative program opportunities for VMCH consumers under the direction and guidance of the Lifestyle and Respite Regional manager
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to assist with the implementation of training strategies to achieve NDIS readiness for VMCH
You will have:
- Extensive experience working directly with customers with significant and diverse disabilities
- Proven capacity to consult with and engage all consumers of the NDIS
- Detailed knowledge of the NDIS
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and gain the cooperation of staff
- Project management and/or change management experience in a complex organisation
